Kidding. But seriously, I don't really watch tv anymore - I bought the Doctor Who dvds (because I LOVED it as a teenager)and I watch new episodes online as they come out, but that's about it. The boyf, on the other hand, LIVES for tv, whether it's True Blood, 24, Satisfaction, Fringe or whatever. I find a lot of what's put out these days pretty derivative and predictable, it's all style over substance, it tries to be edgy and just ends up tacky. Every now and again there's a gem, like Better Off Ted, The IT Crowd or NZ's own Outrageous Fortune, or something utterly bizarre, like Nip/Tuck, but everything else is just a blatant rip-off off another show. And the amount of advertising REALLY gets on my wick.
I love The IT Crowd, although I have only seen it in German, and "gay" on the Net. I also love my favourite adult cartoons Family Guy, Drawn Together, South Park, which are also all shown here, und ze gut sing ist, zat I can now understand zem sehr gut! Other than that, I never really got into many TV shows. The ex-hubby did, but wasn't my thing... apart from BSG. OH! Crappy reality TV shows, I find, can become quite addictive.
